Wollongong Garden Sheds Carports Garages and Aviaries
Its amazing to me how little Australian's in general know about Wollongong. "Its that place they make steel isn't it?" most people say. Whilst this is true, Wollongong's beaches and waterfront are amongst the most beatiful in Australia, it has a hinterland/escarpment to the West much of which is still in original or near original condition forested with dry sclerophyll and pockets of temperate rainforest. The plains between the ocean and the escarpment are a rich fertile alluvium soil and rainfall exceeds that of Sydney by 200m a year making Wollngong ideal for farmers, as well as for home gardeners. Its got a massive university and a large fishing industry. With large such large and diverse industries of steel, agriculture, fishing and education there is a correspondingly diverse multicultural feel to Wollongong.
So yes, they make high quality Australian Steel here(which we use in our sheds) but there is so much more to Wollongong than steel.
Most popular in Wollongong our are 2.3m garden sheds, but our medium and large workshop sheds are also popular for use both as workshop sheds, and small farm storage sheds. We sell more garages in Wollongong than in Sydney, but then again we sell more Carports as well! I guess the people of Wollongong just own more cars!
In Wollongong, our aviaries have been used mostly to house budgerigars, cockatiels and peachfaces, but we've recently sold a couple of large aviaries to house sulphur crested cockatoos. Cockatoos are noisy, live a long time, and require a lot of attention so they often end up as rescue birds. Our large aviaries are like at castle to a cockatoo which has spend most of its life in a tiny parrot cage.
